Fully contained, and handed back to the forest.
Read on October 6, CAL FIRE’s record showed 100% containment at 30,124 acres in Monterey County, with no evacuation orders or warnings listed. Command transferred back to Los Padres National Forest on 29 September; the record’s last update is 1 October and says suppression repair is making good progress on all fire lines, with no fire spread anticipated. The Highway 1 closure tied to this fire was lifted in September and has not returned. We do not copy zone names or shelter addresses because the next official update can make them unsafe.
